Mr. Foong Hak Luen, a highly accomplished choral conductor, holds a Masters in Choral Conducting from the University of St. Joseph, a Fellowship in Choral Conducting from the London College of Music, and an Associate in Voice from the Trinity College of London. He has achieved remarkable success with his choirs, attaining Gold with Honours Awards at the primary, secondary, and junior college levels. Additionally, his choirs consistently received Distinction awards at the Singapore Youth Festival Arts Presentation. Internationally, Hak Luen's choirs have achieved numerous accolades, including Gold awards, Category Champions, and Grand Prizes in various choral competitions across different countries. He has also served as an adjudicator and clinician for choral competitions and conducting workshops. Hak Luen started his choral journey with The Vocal Consort and received guidance from renowned conductors such as Mr. Nelson Kwei.
